Mobilizing One Hundred Thousand Participants at Monas, Ministry of Religious Affairs Coordinates Mass Logistics Ahead of National Independence Prayer
JAKARTA, UIN Online News – Finalizing high-level security and operational logistics for an estimated 100,000 participants, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia issued a final public advisory on Friday, July 31, 2026, urging attendees of the National Zikr and Interfaith Prayer Assembly to arrive early at the National Monument (Monas) Square on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
Executive Secretary of the Ministry's Working Team, Dr. Muchlis M. Hanafi, confirmed that operational protocols have been finalized through inter-agency coordination involving the State Secretariat, the Indonesian National Police (Polri), the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI), and the Jakarta Provincial Government.
"Our primary objective is to guarantee that all 100,000 participants can engage in this national prayer safely, comfortably, and reverently," Dr. Hanafi stated in Jakarta. "Due to high participant volume, we strongly advise the public to arrive early to avoid bottleneck congestion at entry checkpoints."
To manage participant mobilization originating from across Jakarta, West Java, and Banten provinces, state organizers have established integrated support hubs surrounding the landmark monument:
