Profile

Li Pei Feng is a curator and researcherwith a strong scholarly focus on maritime history and Islamic cultural heritage. She currently serves as a Curator at the Cheng Ho Cultural Museum, Melaka, Malaysia.

As a cultural heritage specialist, Li Pei Feng is a member of ICOMOS CIIC (International Scientific Committee on Cultural Routes) and is actively engaged in the Heritage Asia-Pacific (heritAP) practitioner network supported by WHITRAP Shanghai. Through these platforms, he contributes to regional and international heritage discourse and professional collaboration.

He is currently pursuing hid PhD at the Faculty of Nusantara Islam, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia (UNUSIA). Her doctoral research focuses on international heritage collaboration grounded in the values of Islam Nusantara and the Maritime Silk Road, particularly in relation to UNESCO nomination processes.

In 2025, Li Pei Feng serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the Graduate School (Sekolah Pascasarjana), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. In this role, he engages in academic and research collaboration with Professor Arif Zamhari, M.Ag., PhD, a faculty member of the Graduate School at UIN Jakarta. This collaboration is expected to strengthen UIN Jakarta’s international research networks while advancing the integration of globally benchmarked scholarship and research.
