Celebrating the 69th Anniversary, UIN Jakarta Crowns Top Student Vocalists in Voice Hunt Grand Final
CIPUTAT, UIN Online News – Highlighting student artistic expression and vibrant campus life, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta hosted the Grand Final of the 2026 Voice Hunt on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Convened at the Harun Nasution Auditorium, the vocal showdown served as a flagship highlight of the university's 69th Anniversary (Dies Natalis) celebrations under the SPECTRA 2026 banner (Synergy, Performance, Entertainment, Creativity, Togetherness, Recreation, and Achievement).
Out of a nationwide student pool, ten top finalists competed on stage before an audience of supporters, executive leadership, and a multi-disciplinary judging panel. The jury comprised alumni songwriter Roy Haris Candra, orchestral musician Habiburrahman, music enthusiast Rayhan Naufaldi Hidayat, and National MTQ Quranic recitation champion Dr. Atiqotul Fitriyah.
Addressing the audience, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Professor Ali Munhanif, Ph.D., emphasized the university's commitment to providing public platforms for non-academic talent development.
"A well-rounded education extends beyond lecture halls," Professor Ali Munhanif stated. "Many of our students possess extraordinary artistic skills. Providing dedicated platforms like the Voice Hunt allows us to nurture their vocal mastery, build confidence, and present their talents to the broader public."
Chief Committee Chair of the 69th Anniversary, Dr. dr. Achmad Zaki, Sp.OT., underscored that the finalists will serve as artistic Brand Ambassadors representing UIN Jakarta across public and cultural events.
"Voice Hunt becomes the university ambassadors," Dr. Zaki explained. "We encourage all UIN Jakarta students to balance academic rigor with creative development."
Through initiatives like SPECTRA 2026 and the Voice Hunt competition, UIN Jakarta demonstrates that its 69-year institutional legacy embraces academic excellence, cultural diversity, and vibrant youth creativity.
