Faculty of Medicine at UIN Jakarta Welcomes the Visit of Tgk Chiek Oemar Diyan Modern Islamic Boarding School in Aceh Besar
FK UIN Jakarta, UIN Online News - The Rapai Geleng dance performance opened the visit of Tgk Chiek Oemar Diyan Modern Islamic Boarding School from Aceh Besar to UIN Jakarta. The event took place at the Prof. M.K. Tadjudin Auditorium on Thursday, (2/5/2024).
This event is part of the annual comparative study program of Tgk Chiek Oemar Diyan Modern Islamic Boarding School. Its aim is to strengthen ties and provide opportunities for students to continue their education at specialized higher education institutions, particularly in the Faculty of Medicine at UIN Jakarta.
In his speech, Irhamullah, a representative from the boarding school, expressed his gratitude to the Faculty of Medicine at UIN Jakarta for their warm welcome. This visit is part of our annual curriculum at the boarding school.
"This activity was attended by 104 students, consisting of 61 boys and 43 girls, accompanied by 6 supervisors," said Irhamullah.
Risahmawati, the Head of the Medical Profession Study Program at UIN Jakarta, delivered a presentation on the medical education process and career opportunities in the medical field.
Risahmawati emphasized the importance of integrity, responsibility, and dedication in pursuing a medical profession. Being a doctor is a great trust. "We are committed to producing doctors who are not only of high quality but also have high integrity," she said.
Next, Marita Fadila, the Head of the Faculty of Medicine at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, highlighted the excellence of the Faculty of Medicine at UIN Jakarta, including the integration of medical science and Islam, as well as the geriatric and hajj modules. She also highlighted various types of scholarships available to prospective students.
"UIN's Faculty of Medicine is the best place to become a complete Muslim doctor," she said.
At the end of the event, the students were provided with detailed information about various admission pathways and scholarships available at UIN Jakarta. This includes the Smart Indonesia Card Scholarship (KIP-K), health affirmation, and scholarships for outstanding students to assist them in preparing for university entrance exams.
