UIN Jakarta's Faculty of Sharia and Law Passes Administrative Selection for the Ministry of Religious Affairs Integrity Zone 2024

FSH UIN Jakarta, UIN News Online - The Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has successfully passed the administrative selection in the evaluation of the Integrity Zone towards a Region Free from Corruption (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Region (WBBM) in 2024. This announcement was made through the Ministry of Religious Affairs letter number B-3380/IJ/PS.00/09/2024 dated September 3, 2024.

From a total of 57 work units proposed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 31 work units made it to the next stage, while 26 others were declared unsuccessful. FSH UIN Jakarta is one of two State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN) that passed the administrative selection, along with the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Bandung.

Head of Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Akhmad Fauzin. S.Ag., M.SI., explained “We really appreciate the efforts of FSH UIN Jakarta in fulfilling all administrative requirements. This success shows their commitment to bureaucratic reform and quality public services.” He explained.

The Dean of FSH UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maksum, S.H., M.A., M.D.C., expressed his gratitude for this achievement. “Alhamdulillah, this is the result of hard work of the entire FSH academic community. We will continue to strive to improve our service quality and integrity towards the next stage,” he said.

The next stage is a desk evaluation assessment by the National Assessment Team (TPN), which will be carried out either directly, indirectly, or through unannounced visits to FSH UIN Jakarta.

Meanwhile, for 26 work units that did not pass the administrative stage, the Ministry of Religious Affairs' Internal Assessment Team (TPI) is processing a rebuttal to the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform.

The success of UIN Jakarta's FSH in this stage brings new hope for bureaucratic reform efforts in Islamic universities. The academic community is now waiting for the final results of this evaluation process, which is expected to strengthen FSH's commitment to integrity zones and quality public services.
