Diorama Room, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta successfully hosted its 2024 Postgraduate Expo on Tuesday (17/9), providing prospective Master's and Doctoral students with a comprehensive overview of the university’s advanced degree programs and available scholarships. Held in the Diorama Room, the event attracted a diverse group of attendees from various universities and institutions, eager to explore opportunities for postgraduate studies.

UIN Jakarta Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., emphasized the significance of the event for aspiring postgraduate students. “We aim to provide attendees with thorough insights into our Master’s and Doctoral programs, enabling them to make informed decisions about their academic futures,” he remarked.

Zaenal Muttaqin, S.Th.I., M.A., Head of UIN Jakarta’s Information and Public Relations Center (PIH), elaborated on the university’s commitment to continuing the conversation with prospective students. “We will hold regular information sessions every week, offering detailed guidance on postgraduate programs and scholarship opportunities, including support from organizations like STF, LPDP, and BAZNAS,” he said.

Throughout the day, faculty representatives from various departments—including the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, the Faculty of Da’wah and Communication Studies, and the Faculty of Sharia and Law—presented an in-depth look at their respective academic offerings. Additionally, attendees were briefed on a wide array of scholarships available through the Social Trust Fund UIN Jakarta, BAZNAS, BRIN, LPDP, and BIB, providing a clear roadmap to financial support for their studies.

A lively Q&A session, moderated by Taufan Maulana Firdaus from UIN Jakarta’s PIH team, allowed participants to seek further clarification on specific programs and scholarships. The event concluded with an informative presentation on the registration process for UIN Jakarta’s postgraduate programs, delivered by the Head of the Academic Affairs Department.

The 2024 Postgraduate Expo is expected to assist prospective students in selecting the most suitable programs, understanding the registration procedures, and taking full advantage of the numerous scholarship opportunities available at UIN Syarif Jakarta.
