UIN Jakarta and Rumah Zakat Indonesia Foundation Establishes Cooperation in Social and Educational Fields.
Rectorate Building, UIN News Online - UIN Jakarta officially signed a memorandum of understanding with Rumah Zakat Indonesia Foundation in the Main Conference Room, 2nd floor Rectorate Building, Monday (5/8/2024). This cooperation includes mentoring, fund distribution and collaboration of various programs.
This cooperation agreement was led by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar M.A.Ph.D.,. Prof. Asep Jahar emphasized that this cooperation is very important because it can synergize many things "Especially the development in the fields of education, science, discourse and research," he said.
"Yayasan Rumah Zakat Indonesia as a non-profit organization engaged in the social, educational and community sectors in this case can certainly contribute to each other," he added.
UIN Jakarta is happy to open interaction, especially on programs developed by the Rumah Zakat Foundation. "With the quality of competent human resources in the fields of education, medicine, science and religion that can help provide assistance for the needs of the Foundation," he said.
CEO of Rumah Zakat Indonesia, Irvan Nugraha, revealed that in an effort to encourage the distribution of as many benefits as possible that can be received by the community in strengthening academic studies, the contribution of educational personnel from UIN Jakarta is needed. "Hopefully, this cooperation is a form of commitment from Rumah Zakat in advancing Indonesian education," he said.
Irvan said one of the programs of Rumah Zakat Indonesia Foundation is to encourage the development of empowered villages. In the coaching process, volunteers and local experts are needed. "We hope that a new superhero will emerge from UIN Jakarta to participate in the coaching and mentoring process," he explained.
In addition, Rumah Zakat Indonesia Foundation also provides scholarships. "We provide scholarships for students who come from pre-prosperous families," he explained. This scholarship is expected to help support the education of UIN Jakarta students who need financial support.
For information, in signing the memorandum of understanding, the Rector was also accompanied by Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Affairs Din Wahid, Ph.D., Head of International Cooperation Service Center Prof. Maila Dinia Husni Rahiem, Head of AAKK Bureau, Head of Academic Section, Head of Student Affairs Team and Head and Team of PLKI.
