To Celebrate the 34th Anniversary, FDIKOM UIN Jakarta Holds a Series of Educational and Interactive Activities
Jakarta, UIN News Online — Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (FDIKOM) Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta will hold a series of events to commemorate its 34th Anniversary. The celebration, which takes place from September 5 to 7, 2024, will be filled with various educational and interactive activities aimed at all students, lecturers, alumni, and the FDIKOM academic community.
The Dean of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences, Dr. Gun Gun Heryanto, M.Si., extended an invitation to all students, lecturers, alumni, and the FDIKOM academic community to participate in this celebration. “The 34th Anniversary of FDIKOM is not only a momentum to remember the long journey of our faculty, but also to knit togetherness and strengthen an inclusive academic spirit. Let us together succeed this event and make it an inspiration for the next generation,” he said.
Series of Activities:
September 05, LPDP Talk Show: Study Abroad
The opening event of this anniversary will present a talk show with the theme of Study Abroad in collaboration with the Awardee of the Education Fund Management Institution (LPDP). Students will get information and motivation about scholarship opportunities and the study abroad process.
September 06, Focus Group Discussion and Intercultural Exchange
On the second day, FDIKOM will hold a focus group discussion attended by FDIKOM lecturers. This activity discusses the Revision of the Public Information Disclosure Law.
September 07, FDIKOM Fun Walk & RUN, Orphan and Dhuafa Charity, and Alumni Meeting
The last day will start with Fun Walk & RUN activities involving the entire academic community. After that, FDIKOM will organize social activities in the form of compensation for orphans and poor people. On the same day, the alumni gathering will be a reunion event while strengthening the bonds of FDIKOM UIN Jakarta.
September 05-07: FDIKOM Study Exhibition, Job Fair, and Live Performance of Acoustic Music
During the anniversary celebration, FDIKOM will also hold a study exhibition, job fair, and live acoustic music performance. This event is expected to be a platform for students to explore career opportunities and broaden their academic horizons.
With a series of varied and useful activities, the 34th Anniversary of FDIKOM UIN Jakarta is expected to be a place for friendship and strengthening relationships between all elements in the faculty, as well as a motivation for students to continue to excel and contribute to society. (Shulhan)
