FPSI UIN Jakarta and Kominfo Establish Synergy to Strengthen Digital Investigation Services
Faculty of Psychology UIN Jakarta, UIN Online News - The Faculty of Psychology at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is exploring a strategic partnership with the Digital Investigation Service Deputy (Komdigi) of Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo). This collaboration aims to strengthen synergies between academia and government in developing humanistic, science-based digital investigation services.
A constructive meeting was held between the Faculty of Psychology's leadership and Dr. Irawati as Komdigi's representative. The discussion marked the first step toward joint initiatives in research development, human resource training, and psychological support for technology-based investigation processes.
The Dean of the Faculty of Psychology emphasized their commitment to enhancing digital public services through psychological expertise:
"We welcome this collaborative initiative. Psychology plays a crucial role in investigations and public communication, especially in the digital era. We're ready to contribute through research and psychological assistance."
Dr. Irawati highlighted academia's role in balancing technological and humanistic approaches:
"We see great potential in UIN Jakarta's academic contributions, both in psychological methodology and technical support for our operations."
The partnership will be formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the near future, with expected outcomes including concrete programs to strengthen Indonesia's digital investigation systems and public services.
