FAH UIN Jakarta Surpasses Expectations in ACQUIN Accreditation
FAH, UIN News Online - The Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Jakarta has successfully navigated the ACQUIN international accreditation process, which took place over two days on December 12-13, 2024. Dr. Ida Farida, MLIS, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at FAH, noted that the faculty falls within Cluster 8, which covers Language and History. "Every segment of our faculty was involved in this accreditation," she stated. "Each program has formed teams comprising the head of the program, faculty members, and students who worked together to prepare the Self Assessment Report (SAR). We've been preparing since 2022 with modules like syllabi and handbooks," she elaborated during her interview with UIN Online on Monday, December 16, 2024.

"The assessment was conducted via Zoom, complemented by a physical site visit by Dr. Michael Mayer and Fred Hartelt to evaluate our facilities and infrastructure," Dr. Farida added.
Accreditation Outcome and Future Prospects
The assessor team concluded with an unconditional pass for FAH, meaning no further conditions were required. "We are now awaiting the official confirmation from ACQUIN," Dr. Farida remarked.
Dr. Michael Mayer expressed his appreciation on his personal WhatsApp status: "I thoroughly enjoyed this accreditation process and was fortunate to receive a thesis from one of the master’s students. It highlights the motivational research conducted by UIN Jakarta students. I eagerly anticipate reading this thesis."
