Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Jakarta Hosts Talk Show with OK OCE and Linkzasia to Support Indonesian MSMEs
Jakarta, UIN Online News – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a collaborative talk show with OK OCE and LinkzAsia on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Titled "Unlocking Business Potential," the event aimed to enhance the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) while motivating students to become future entrepreneurs.
FEB Dean Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, SE., M.Si., Ak., CA., emphasized the importance of bridging academic theory with real-world business practices. "Collaborations like this are crucial to connect us with the community, including through partnerships with OK OCE and other stakeholders," he stated. He also expressed hope for continued cooperation through impactful programs that inspire students to embark on entrepreneurial journeys.
Azwa Nufi, Director of Educational Cooperation at OK OCE Indonesia, highlighted youth’s role in creating societal value. "Young generations must dare to innovate beyond inherited traditions," she urged.
The first session featured OK OCE Secretary-General Sahmullah Rivqi, who outlined the organization’s efforts since 2017 to elevate small MSMEs to compete in larger markets. "The biggest challenge isn’t just capital but entrepreneurial mindset and resilience. Mentorship must be practical and address mental barriers," he asserted.
LinkzAsia representative Tatik Nurhalisah led the second session, sharing digital strategies for MSMEs to expand into Asian markets. "Opportunities demand proactive networking and support systems," she emphasized.
Students actively engaged in Q&As, reflecting their eagerness to apply entrepreneurial insights. As a follow-up, OK OCE will provide year-long intensive coaching for 20 selected participants, covering financial management, digital marketing, and market access—demonstrating its commitment to nurturing innovative young entrepreneurs.
