61 Students of UIN Jakarta Receive STF Scholarships for 2024

Diorama Room, UIN News Online - Social Trust Fund (STF) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta distributed odd semester scholarships to 61 selected students in an event held at the Diorama Room on campus. The total scholarship funds distributed reached Rp207,785,800.

STF Executive Director, Prof. Amelia Fauzia, Ph.D., reported that the scholarship program attracted 167 applicants. “Of these, 149 students passed the file selection and finally 61 students were declared STF scholarship recipients,” she said.

The scholarships distributed consisted of 45 merit scholarships, 2 PNLS, 4 PHRS, 4 PAAS, 2 foster parent scholarships, and 4 disability scholarships. Prof. Amelia emphasized the importance of generosity for the scholarship recipients. “You are the chosen ones. Let us also help others and encourage each other in academics, achievements, and helping others,” she said.

Vice Rector for Cooperation, Din Wahid, M.A., Ph.D., expressed the rectorate's full support for this program. “The Rector is very supportive of this scholarship. As proof, during the graduation ceremony all those present were invited to donate to the STF scholarship,” he said.

Prof. Dr. H. Husni Rahim, in his speech, conveyed the slogan Limited is Unlimited. “In a limitation, there are actually unlimited things. And we must pick up that unlimitedness, because it is scattered in various places.” He explained.

Syafitri Nur Fatimah, one of the scholarship recipients, expressed her gratitude. “We promise to give our best service to the community as a form of gratitude for this scholarship,” she said on behalf of the recipients.

The event was closed with the symbolic handover of scholarships and the introduction of the new STF board. STF UIN Jakarta hopes that this program can continue to grow and provide wider benefits for students in need.
