Profil

Prof. Ts. Dr. Muhammad Sabri bin Sahrir adalah seorang Profesor di Departemen Bahasa dan Literasi, Fakultas Pendidikan, Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (IIUM). Beliau memiliki kualifikasi akademik dalam bidang Bahasa Arab dan Pendidikan Teknologi Instruksional, serta gelar Doktor Filsafat (PhD) dari Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Beliau juga diakui sebagai Professional Technologist (Ts) oleh Malaysia Board of Technologists dan sebagai Certified Trainer oleh HRDF Malaysia.

Karier akademik beliau dimulai pada tahun 1999 dan sepanjang periode tersebut, beliau telah memegang berbagai jabatan penting termasuk Kepala Departemen dan Wakil Dekan di beberapa fakultas di IIUM. Bidang keahlian beliau mencakup Teknologi Instruksional, Pengajaran Bahasa Arab, serta Penelitian Desain dan Pengembangan (Design and Development Research). Selain itu, beliau juga mahir sebagai auditor akademik, khususnya melalui keterlibatannya dengan Agensi Kelayakan Malaysia (MQA) sebagai anggota panel Standar Program Bahasa sejak tahun 2018. Dalam peran ini, beliau telah berkontribusi pada pemantauan dan penilaian program akademik untuk memastikan kualitas serta kepatuhan terhadap standar nasional, sekaligus menonjolkan keahliannya dalam standarisasi pendidikan bahasa dan penilaian kualitas akademik.
