د. أولاتونجي شوباندي هو باحث وأكاديمي متميز يشغل حالياً منصب أستاذ مساعد في قسم إدارة الأعمال بكلية هارتويك في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. يمتلك سجلاً أكاديمياً دولياً حافلاً، حيث قام بالتدريس في عدة مؤسسات عريقة في المملكة المتحدة مثل جامعة تيسايد، جامعة أبردين، وجامعة سندرلاند. تشمل مؤهلاته التعليمية درجة الدكتوراه في الاقتصاد من جامعة أبردين، ودرجة الماجستير مع مرتبة الشرف (Distinction) من جامعة لاغوس، بالإضافة إلى بكالوريوس الاقتصاد مع مرتبة الشرف الأولى (First-Class Honors) من جامعة كالب.

تغطي خبرته الفكرية مجالات الاقتصاد، استراتيجية الأعمال، تمويل الشركات، بالإضافة إلى تمويل المناخ والاستدامة. وإلى جانب مسيرته الأكاديمية، يحمل د. شوباندي شهادات في القيادة التنفيذية من جامعة هارفارد في مجال التفاوض ومن جامعة كرانفيلد في الإدارة المتقدمة. وهو حائز على زمالة كبار الأكاديميين من أكاديمية التعليم العالي البريطانية (SFHEA)، وعضو نشط في منظمات عالمية بارزة مثل الجمعية الاقتصادية الأمريكية (AEA) والجمعية الدولية لاقتصاديات الطاقة (IAEE). ويسعى من خلال أبحاثه إلى تطوير سياسات مبتكرة تدعم التحول إلى اقتصاد منخفض الكربون وتعزيز الحوكمة الاقتصادية العالمية المستدامة.

يساهم حالياً بشكل نشط كزميل أبحاث أقدم (Senior Research Fellow) في كلية الاقتصاد والأعمال بجامعة شريف هداية الله الإسلامية الحكومية بجاكرتا (UIN Jakarta) لعام 2025. ويعمل في هذه المهمة ضمن شراكة أكاديمية وبحثية مع الدكتور علي راما (Ali Rama, S.E., M.Ec., Ph.D)، الأستاذ بالكلية. ويهدف هذا التعاون إلى تعزيز الشبكة الدولية لجامعة UIN جاكرتا ودعم تكامل العلوم والأبحاث وفقاً للمعايير العالمية.
